Foreign Language Enrichment at Melville Elementary School

Portsmouth Enrichment is pleased to offer Spanish to Melville students in Grades 1-3. The classes are intended to expose the students to the language of Spanish in a creative and fun way. Taught by Senora Leonard who has been teaching Spanish for Portsmouth Enrichment for six years; Senora holds a B.A. in Spanish K-12, Speech 6-12 and an M.A. in Communications.

Spanish 2
Requirements: Completed Spanish 1 or Equivalent Spanish Language program
Classes Start: Thursday, October 27th for 22 weeks and conclude in May
Class Time: Thursdays, 8am-8:40 am at Melville Elementary
Program Fee: $150 and includes all materials
Focus: Some parts of speech, Animals, Face/Body, Family & Foods

Spanish 1
Requirements: Open to grade 1 - 3 students
Classes Start: Friday, January 6, 2012 for 16 weeks and conclude in May
Class Time: Fridays, 8am-8:40 am at Melville Elementary
Program Fee: $120 and includes all materials
Focus: Introduction to Spanish, Colors, Numbers & Fun!

Foreign Language Enrichment is not a fundraiser. The goal of the fee structure is to charge for real costs. A limited amount of financial aide is available – please contact your child's guidance counselor in confidence.
